Hi crafty friends!
Welcome to my creative journey which I'll documents in this blog.
Spring is right around the corner, you can feel the air is getting warmer, we have more sunlight (well, in Israel even winter can be very sunny unfortunately) and flowers are everywhere. It really is the blooming season, colors and scents surround us and even though I'm a winter girl myself, sometimes it's nice to play with those cheerful tones.
Those bikes are made of plain white plastic, but some alterations had to be made! 😉 Using some mixed media products by Finnabair, I turned it into a rusty aged bike with a flower basket full of goodies.
In addition to the paper flowers, you'll find a real pine tree fruit found outside (aren't they cute?), a clay violin and a frame, all altered to suit the rusty spring revival mood I was in when creating this.
As a final touch, I added the Flower Girl beads because it really looks like a stand at a country spring wedding or a village market somewhere sunny and happy.
